Hi! my name is Ignacio, and for now I am the manager and only member of Explorer´s Edge. Here is a bit about myself:

As an educator

I have seen the effect of outdoor education in youth and my dream is to further this line of work, and make it happen more in Iceland. I believe in the transformative power of nature and outdoor education. 

My aim is to promote reflection and expand comfort zones, fostering a path of self-discovery for participants.

As a guide

I love spending a day outdoors, whatever the conditions, showing people some of the most special places in Iceland. This includes how to interact with the fragile yet impressive nature, and keeping always a welcoming and warm attitude with everyone.

About myself

Personally, I love exploration, climbing routes that were never tried before and discovering new places, always prioritizing safety. In outdoor education my purpose is to promote reflection while expanding the comfort zone.
