Iceland has an incredible amount of waterfalls, and they are often quite easy to reach, and on top of that, most freeze during winter. It is really a paradise for the ice seekers, with anything from easy WI2 waterfalls to steep and technical WI6.

We will contact you a few days before our day out to discuss the possible routes and weather. There are many waterfalls to choose from, most of them withing an hour of Reykjavik, depending on different factor we can choose the most suitable ones. We will also discuss transport options, gear and skill levels to create the best possible experience. When we arrive at the designated spot we will go through everything we might need and focus on what you are more interested about, whether it is learning new rope systems, the theory of ice climbing, improving technique and so on.

Anyone can join this tour, it is not necessary to have previous experience or be a great climber, you just need to be ready to learn a few things and enjoy a good cold day out! Ice climbing might be one of the most engaging and fascinating types of climbing, and we will adapt to your skill level, from easy single pitches to long multipitches.
